Hi everyone and welcome back to the final post in this gift guide series (don’t worry, more to come, but likely on Instagram and LTK (@beautyandthemamablog))! Few things to remember, I have little kids (3 & 1), so I am not *fully* knowledgeable about what older kids are liking yet, but some of this stuff applies to “big kids” too! I honestly used my current Christmas list for my kids as inspiration for this list. The holidays are such a magical time for little ones and at the end of the day, they will remember the magic YOU created for them, not the gift <3.
Ok, lets jump write in!
I have heard about this for 2 years now and I am finally pulling the plug. You buy the box and some figurines (dependent on your child’s preferences) and it reads them stories and sings songs. I have my eye on Elsa and Mirabelle.
My kids have a lot of these already and this is the toy they consistently play with every single day. I am grabbing an expansion pack to upgrade what they currently have.
My kids loooove books. They want to read throughout the day and I highly encourage you to read to your littles whenever you can too! It’s so good for them. Here are some I am picking up for Christmas. Also, highly recommend the encyclopedias I linked. We have all three of those and we read them every single day. My 3 year old has learned sooo many facts (mainly about dinosaurs). If you click the header “BOOKS!”, it will bring you to my LTK where I linked all of the books I recommend!
Ok, this exact suggestion may be specific to my family BUT if anything, I hope it inspires you to figure out a hobby gift for little one. My husband is an avid golfer and has dreams of our girls being in love with golf, like he is. So far, both kids seem interested. Our oldest has asked for a set of pink clubs, so my husband is ecstatic and she is getting some.
Most kids love arts and crafts. Yes, it can be messy, but if you have the right set up, it shouldn’t be too bad! Arts and crafts hold my kids attention for a long time, so I try to fit them in every day. In the headline “Crafts + Art Supplies” are my arts and crafts I am reupping on!
I feel like every little kid loves their own baby doll, regardless of gender. My oldest has FIVE. So, we donated four of them and my youngest is getting a fresh one for herself. This is the one I am getting for her. This is the one we are getting her because it is basic (we have a bunch of accessories already), but there are so many to choose from.
We have these one and my kids love them. The bottoms have a lot of tread to keep your child from slipping. They look sooo cute walking around in these. Highly recommend – your kid will love.
I remember as a kid that I loved dressing up in princess outfits. My kids have followed directly in my footsteps (although this is another thing I think all kids like doing). We have sooo many costumes, but I plan to get one or two new ones for them so I can get rid of some of the more worn down ones. Click the headline “Costumes” and you will see everything I linked on my LTK.
I hope this list was able to offer some gift inspiration for your little one. These are all absolute hits for my kids or what I have found in my research!!
What gifts are you planning on getting your child? Leave it in the comments below!
Until next time,
Lauryn xo
